Dear Carter Families and Friends,
Carter Elementary is excited to announce our inaugural Math-A-Thon fundraiser!
Funds raised by each grade level will directly support that grade’s planned field trip expenses and provide classroom grants for teachers within the grade level.
Please know that all students will be included in every activity and event, regardless of a family’s ability to donate.
Attached is a pledge sheet students may use to collect sponsorships from friends, neighbors, and relatives. Sponsors may choose to make a flat donation or pledge a specific amount per point earned on the Math-A-Thon test. The test will have a maximum score of 100 points.
For student safety, we ask that children contact only people they know and do not collect pledges without adult supervision.
The Math-A-Thon test will be given on Friday, August 28. Once the tests have been scored, they will be sent home so students can begin collecting donations from their sponsors.
All pledge sheets and donations must be returned by Friday, September 4.
The fundraising goal is approximately $50 per student. We understand that this amount may not be financially feasible for every family, and we are grateful for any contribution you are able to make. Every donation, regardless of size, helps support meaningful experiences for our students and teachers.
